On the edge between a forest and a meadow, there lies a hill with a wooden door leading into a burrow. Much to your surprise upon entering, the burrow is a large system of organized chambers and passageways. Everywhere the walls are filled to the brim with books and archives, in an orderly chaotic fashion. The burrow itself has a familiar scent of settled dirt, musty paper, honeysuckle wafting in from the meadow, and the unmistakable scent of a fox. “Hello,” You turn your head and see a red fox with a smug grin. “Welcome to my library.”

⋆?⋆ What is the Library for? ⋆?⋆
The Library, AKA Fox’s Library, is the team group owned by CustardFox. The Library is a place of learning. Here, we can talk about a multitude of topics with respect and maturity in order to learn the many perspectives of the world. Along with that, it is also a place of fun. Come in, Cozy up, and enjoy a good discussion.

⋆?⋆ Requirements to enter the Library ⋆?⋆
Familiarity: I have to be somewhat familiar with you and have interacted before. The Library is a place where people want the confidence to speak their opinions and enjoy respectful company- that atmosphere is priority and as a result I do not accept people I have never met or those who display immature behavior.
Maturity: The member wanting to join has to have shown they are mature and can handle an array of discussions from the weird to the heartwarming, the beautiful to the disturbing. Maturity is a must.
Good intentions: Do not come into my Library with bad intentions. If your intentions become clear, you will never be welcomed again. This is a place of learning and learning comes from a desire to grow. Doing harm to others on purpose is not conducive to the environment within the Library.

Please maintain respect in the Library
People are going to disagree with you. This is a fact of life. What we need is not bickering or name calling, but thoughtful and respectful conversations. We want this to be the haven away from the disrespect.
Anyone can make a thread here in the subforum on any topic
If there is a public board that would better fit, I encourage you to use it for more varied responses.
Lurkers and quiet critters are welcome
It is understandable that many people are busy- especially in the more word-heavy topics that not everyone has the time to interact with.
There is no such thing as a stupid question!
Ask anything here, seriously.
Stances on otherwise forbidden topics
Therian-Guide has several rules in place where certain topics are not allowed or are limited in what can be spoken about. In the pursuit of knowledge, my team will allow some of these otherwise forbidden topics. What is very important is that We maintain respect, boundaries, and use discretion when these sensitive topics come up. In particular, when politics come up, let's remember that everyone is a person and should be treated with basic respect despite disagreements in opinion.
Please be respectful that there are minors in the group
While I will not add anyone under 16, it is important to note that there are still minors within the group. If we are discussing a topic and it begins to delve into the nsfw side, then please take it to designated adult areas.
Some unspoken rules that I want to add
Please remember that CustardFox is highly sensitive to topics that revolve around child death or abuse. These are triggers for her and while they can be mentioned, please be respectful and limit it.
Edgy jokes are allowed, but please control yourself. No one wants to hear edgy joke after edgy joke.
Limit references to suicide in jokes. We do not want to accidentally encourage this behavior.
DON’T SHARE SCREENSHOTS. This is a rule that TG has but I want to emphasize it in my group. We want the Library to be a place of safety for the curious and sharing screenshots in bad faith is the quickest way to make everyone uncomfortable.
