I find it interesting how much younger folks are in the modern therian scene. I figured myself out when I was around 8 years old, and was well into college before I started looking online. Admittedly, that was because I finally got access to online resources at college. I had a dial-up modem, but the only things around were BBSes and they were unbelievably provincial. It was difficult in those times because it was library research, and any materials that existed covered clinical lycanthropy, which didn't really fit. Since college was how most folks got internet, the majority of the therians I knew were in their 20s.

Personally, I think it is fantastic that resources exist now, and that folks don't have to go through that self-discovery alone.

therian hunters? I say nope. I guess it's just the same that would bully a furry, for the same reason, and probably don't get the difference to begin with. But if they were real...

You might be stalked/chased because you are a teen-aged girl and there are weirdos, and pedophiles who stalk young girls. I do not think people are getting stalked because they are Therian. Even if people wear collars and such, that might be more stand-outish. But I would view most of those (from an outsider viewpoint) as being Goth, teen-wolves. Not people who identify within as a non-human animal.

Most of the things discussed in the video are just common sense things. If you wear a tail, collar that sort of thing, you WILL stand out.

Granted I've only been awakened for over a year, and in the community as long. I've never encountered "hunters of therians". I have encountered bullies, people with small minded views, misguided thoughts on what I am. But "hunters"? No.
