This kinda just feels like "god did it" with shiny new paints if i'm being real, there's not much to discuss if the theory is "higher being did it for a Purpose or got confused and everything is explained through that".
Why do we not observe animals behaving as other animals ? Would the hidden be only able to accidentally swap humans ? If so why ? Where do the accidentally swapped souls go ? Logic would say we'd have observed weirdly human behaving animals, or at least other cases of swapping.

What about polytherians/fictionkin who claim a plethora of different characters. Why would an entity assign them more than one soul or make that many "mistakes"? Why doesn't the entity give non-human souls to people who actively harm animals/the environment like poachers, to try and forego their actions?

Hi there!
I seee! I think that the Hidden sort of gives the critter a copinglink when they think they need it, like after trauma or abuse.
The Hidden sort of persuades their soul to create this part of them - their copinglink - and attach it to their soul.
Just opinions, remember, so please don’t get upset/offended by anything I’ve said and let me know if I have!

That is a very interesting viewpoint Aspen! It explains very well why people who are therian and/or fictionkin may feel "off" (dysphoria, homesickness, frequent or recurring dreams related to their theriotype and/or kintype) since basically, as early as they can remember. However, I noticed that it doesn't account for the people who... well... I guess these would be copinglinks et al., but the people who "become" therian and/or fictionkin after experiencing psychological trauma and whatnot, and as a member mentioned in a different thread (I will look for it after posting this and add the link) mentioned, physical trauma which alters the structure of the brain.

Hi there @LemLem!
I think that the Hidden knows what’s going to happen like what shows will exist - they’re basically all knowing. The Hidden would have already known the show would exist, the fictionkin would just need to awaken and learn who they are.
These are just my thoughts though!

How would that explain fictionkin whose 'types came into existence after they were born? I've seen quite a few Murder Drones around, even though that show didn't exist until a few years ago. How would the Hidden have known of the creatures? Or would you then believe someone can 'become' alterhuman because their soul gets tampered with while they're alive? Where does the original soul go?

This is how I think the alterhuman community came to being!
I think people are therian because what I believe is before you’re born, a hidden figure (aka the Hidden) decides where you’re gonna go, what kind of person you’re gonna be and all that and they got confused when putting you in animal form and made you into a human instead of your theriotype which is why you experience dysphoria because you are literally in the wrong body because of the Hidden.
I think people are otherhearted because the Hidden swapped their human heart and soul and swapped it with their kithtype’s making them have this rlly strong connection to your kithtype.
I think people are fictionkin because the Hidden as deciding who they were going to be and got mixed up with a fictional character and you thus making them a fictionkin.
And for otherkin it is the same theory as therianthropy.
Thoughts?

I don't think it really needs new labels or micro-labels, But I also don't think it's something that should be banned or that it's 100% harmful to the community.
Sometimes there are feelings that don't have a name, and knowing that there are others like you is comforting.
Currently, I think almost all of Theriathropy's classic labels already cover everything, but creating new labels wouldn't be a problem yet.
It would only be a problem if this label was created to establish superiority or to belittle someone in the community.
I like to think that if no one is being offended and someone is identifying with these micro-labels, then they will be valid.

I realise that me answering this is pointless because you're just not going to read it again but:
