I agree... It feels kinda weird and sometmes also scares me! I can't understand how it's possibile that I am a therian, and this is very mysterious.
I do agree with your opinion and view on therianthropy. I do think that some people take it very seriously which is not a bad thing but again it doesn't define your whole personality or traits. It is simply a part of you that you learned to accept.
I also understand preople who are new to this community and can be hyperfixated about therianthropy for a while because this happens often but like I said, your whole life does not resolve about therianthropy

I really cannot answer the question in a satisfactorily manner; I simply..am.
I don't go out of my way to flaunt it nor -if filling out a form- will I put 'Demon' as a race or whatever. In this life I am human and as such I am restricted by human biology. My 'demon' aspects came to the fore years ago but I misidentified it but now the term 'demon' seems to fit.
In a past life I was -most likely- a being that people here call 'demon' (not the evil biblical metaphors) just as I was a different being in other lifetimes; why the demon aspects have bubbled to the surface of my consciousness is unknown but it is there and I just accept it. Again in this life I am human and biology compels me to act as such as I cannot act any other way but it might help to explain the way I feel when among society and though I treat others respectfully I have and still do feel like an alien in a world that makes little sense.

I think its used to describe when someone identifies as an animal involuntarily on any level, and in my opinion, this is something that can be confirmed. Although sometimes I doubt myself (and that's a good thing, it's good to question your beliefs from time to time), I remind myself that "normal" people don't feel wings or get zoomies in a way that could only be described as cat-like.
Either way, I know for sure that I am a therian. At the very least, I know for sure that I am aligned with what I consider to be a therian - and that is enough for me.
