While there are some awesome things on YouTube about therians i personally do my own research on my own time i look to books about my kith type read some nature books and watch animal documentaries. what about you how do you research and if you do where you research through book or online?
and what is the difference between books and online?

snow leopards are poorly studied by people, articles written by zoo staff helped me, as an example, books about hunting snow leopards (there are such). this is found online, in the form of e-books or articles, not paper versions.
videos and movies, there is little information in them. I watch them because of the craving for habitats.
TV, books, youtube, everything about animals I could get my hands on.

I was really interested in nature, animals both wild and domestic. Over time knowledge collected. It wasn't on purpose really.

The ferret struck a cord in me out of the blue, so this research was on purpose. And included books, videos, and rl meetings with ferrets.

I think Chihuahua is the right type of dog here...but time will tell.
I read online about my kith types and theriotypes. Books can only say so much so much. Some are even outdated. I am still finding out more about myself everyday.
I was drawn to foxes because I thought they were just really pretty dogs at first. I later learned that they are a bit more than that. (They're not dogs, they are vulpines. I was drawn to them at a young age and thought they are dogs.) I started to read a ton about foxes and their mythology which is interesting. I even saw a fox in real life even though it was in a cage. (It was in there for rehabilitation reasons. The fox had a limp leg.)
