Points shop addition!

Hey guys,

I've promised some new goodies in the points shop, so here they are!

In the points shop there is now a new heading called Colored names.

Inside you will find two new items: Blue colored names and Pink coloured names. Buying one will make your name appear that color for 3 months both in the forums and in the shoutbox. They cost 600 points each.

This is a very old requested feature, which we didn't know how to make work at the time, but now here is your chance!

P.S.: Feel free to suggest other colors we should add! Although we won't add staff colors or green, because that would be confusing.

I'd love to do that. But only if it's a permanent feature. I want to focus my points on giving donatons.

So after three months, it will go back to your original color and will it also get rid of the icon in your icon section of your profile (left)? I was just wondering. (Like Xce has in their points section.)

Some color suggestions I have:

Orange EDIT: Tech members have orange....

Yellow? (Might not show up though but just a suggestion.)

Maybe different shades of pink and blue?

It will go back to whatever you would have otherwise. I was thinking it would get rid of the icon. If people would rather not have the icon... I accept replacements for it in 20x20 pixel art. It's also possible to remove the item beforehand independently of the color asigned, but it's a bit of work.

Okay two things:

1.) This is for all members correct?

2.) After three months, can the icon be removed entirely?

What happens if, in that 3 month time frame of pink or blue, the member's status changes some other way that their name would then be green, etc? Does it change from their chosen pink or blue to green? Would they get the option to choose which color they want?

Also, why only 3 months? Shouldn't points spent be for life? The other point awards are, right?

But I have two suggestions and a question
1. Make it permanent
I haven’t been in the points shop in awhile but it seems to me like everything is permanent. Unless you want to change it. Like with status change

2. For color ideas
What about making them only shades of pink/blue or maybe lighter colors. That way it won’t get confusing trying to remember what color means what.
You could also do colors not in the rainbow.


3. Will Pups be able to change their name color was well?
